- The Artist Born in Chile, the Spanish naturalized designer Enrique Rodríguez graduated in Arquitecture at the Catholic University in Santiago. He arrived in Brasil in 1992 and started his passionate work as an opera scenic designer in 1996. The challenge both into a theatrical and musical direction at the same time inspired him, and this period still influences his work in an intense way. You will find the inspirational lightness of The Magic Flute, Butterfly´s eternal melancoly and Carmen´s passionate love and devotion, among other operas, in his work until now. Mystical transparency and the love affair between light and shadow in his creations made the lightening shop Puntoluce in São Paulo discover Rodríguez and invite him to be its main designer.
